My wife has recently flown twice by herself. Both times her online seat choices were only center seats or MCE for a fee, which we paid. Both times coach was actually half empty with numerous open aisle and window seats. Looks to us like AA is actively fibbing about open seats in the hope of selling some MCE seats. Is there any way to tell?
