Strange you find it necessary to quote me twice and try to devalue my opinion. I wonder what is your motive? And if you think the GM's response is justify, you really have very low standard / expectation on what a luxury property should be.

I did not want / ask for the upgrade. Having a room right next to a pool with the potential noise problem is not an upgrade but a downgrade for me. Furthermore, I am just reporting that there is no view in the suite rooms and this in my opinion is a negative. Everyone has opinion. If you love it, by all means continue to patronize them and give them your business but that doesn't in anyway makes my opinion any less valid. This is clearly an inferior property not worthy of 5-star status. There are much better properties in Bali and no shortage of better choices.
