So to explain that a bit more, BA run their mid-haul A321 services to BEY, AMM, CAI, TLV and the two Moscow airports. They could run other aircraft such as 787s or 777s instead, but particularly for BEY and AMM that is unusual. BA rationalised its midhaul fleet a year or two back and they have precisely 4 midhauls left: Deltas Foxtrot, Golf, Juliet and Uniform. I'm sure 13901 will be along shortly to point out that this is the absolute minimum of mid hauls to run these destinations. And to be fair, before they were rationalised these birds would often pop up even on domestic UK services as a bit of treat for those of us in Club Europe to Newcastle, though the flat bed mechanism wasn't always switched on.
Delta Golf is in the sick bay, she has been running to Moscow more or less exclusively recently. Foxtrot worked Christmas Eve but seems to have Christmas Day off, the timings meant she couldn't do TLV by the looks of it, Today (Boxing Day / St. Stephen's) she is doing trips to Brussels and Geneva. Juliet is doing DME, and Uniform is off to the her native Med. to see Beirut and I suspect Amman thereafter.
Cairo is being handled by Titan in WTP/WT mode, which leaves TLV. The late departure from LHR, early morning return (BA163-162) has gone to the A350 - the second aircraft Bravo Bravo - and the morning Heathrow departure / afternoon return BA165-164 is down as a 777 service, which it often needs to be due to all the connecting traffic.
Then add in crew availability issues, this leads to occasionally short haul aircraft running to these places. Often cash cards are handed out to those facing a seat downgrade (as opposed to a cabin downgrade), £150 in Club, £50 to £75 in Traveller.
