Thanks for the update. This is not a good change for the passenger.
The change was there because the queue for the former security check got way too long to the point that it disrupted the check-in areas.
But this change was not at all ideal. I liked the old system better as well. I wished they switched back to in gate security check like in Singapore/Kuala Lumpur.
