Interesting that you brought this up. I am not sure the ear buds are ready for prime time. But Google Translate may be. ( i have no investment in Google, I am only interested in easy to use translation). I work in a facility where maybe 40% of our clients speak spanish only. Several of my co-workers are native spanish speakers. The app was updated 12-19-2019. I did a trial with my partners asking questions that we would typically ask that were moderately complex, and they answered like typical clients. They were all fairly impressed with the translation for a complex medical issue. I would not use this app for consent for a procedure, but I do think it is worth while for taking a history or normal conversation or even ordering a meal. It works best with an internet connection either wifi or cellular.
