I board the new flight and lo and behold, app tells me baggage has been loaded on my OLD flight.

Should my baggage follow me to the new flight? GAs I asked gave conflicting info

When my SEA-LAS flight got delayed due to mechanical problems after they loaded the luggages already, I was too afraid of booking an alternative flight because I doubted my luggage would've been pulled out.
