It’s common for Crowne Plaza to offer late checkout upon availability as Spire member. Sometimes they offer at half day rate especially during conventions or festival season.

just make sure you don’t switch to Hilton Group as they do the same. I checked into Conrad Beijing at 10pm and asked for 2pm late checkout as a Diamond Member in a non peak season and they said it is a bit difficult to offer and gave me 12pm instead of 11am. When I asked about possible Suite upgrade as all executive rooms are full and they said they do not offer that anymore. Most Hilton hotels do not offer suite upgrades anymore due to too many Diamond Members probably from credit cards or status match. And due to easy lounge invitation the lounges may be crowded to a point where there are no tables to sit on during happy hour and no one leaves till the end of lounge hour. As of late there was a report where a member expressed how he was upset with his stay and he had his Hilton membership removed so I will not even voice out my stay concerns anymore with my Hilton membership
