I will say this though, on a BA documentary earlier this year Alex Cruz & Carolina Martiolli made it clear that on the topic of BOB, the claim was not about cost cutting but more choice for the customer and that catering satisfaction level are back to what they were prior to BoB being launched.
I recall BA saying at the time that customers were unhappy with the standard of catering on board with much of it being wasted, so if the catering satisfaction level is back to where it was, then that would be a failure. So I'm surprised Alex Cruz would admit to a failure on that scale, although he has said that the overall customer satisfaction on flights has gone up, so perhaps he's right that customers weren't that attached to free food and drink. Incidentally, I don't see why people shouldn't comment positively or negatively about BOB on these forums, it's inevitably a topic of interest to many.
