Bts reports IDB statistics, which includes separate data for the different exceptions: downgages (no mandatory compensation), cases where passenger gets to destination within 1 hour , how many got compensation and how many didn't &reasons why, etc
Unfortunately, latest data I can find is 2018
https://www.bts.gov/denied-confirmed-space
Dot has a separate less granular report - it reports total IDB(compensated + downgauge+ others) and doesn't split out the raw numbers
https://www.transportation.gov/indiv...nsumer-reports
Anyways, for OP, UA+regional performed 15 total IDB (compensated, downgauge, passengers who got to final destination within 1hr+others) in q3 2019 and 20k VDB in same quarter.
70 IDB and 64k VDB for Q1-Q3 2019 for UA+regional
No reason to be worried
