Auschwitz, Tatry Mountains, Terma Bania SPA, Warsaw and MISSED FLIGHT! | Aegean, LOT

In this TR I will tell you more about my very last trip. I visited one of my favourite countries in the EU - Poland. I spent less than 24h in the capital - Warsaw, because I've been there many times before, but this time I managed to see the Christmas lights of the city and they were amazing! Then I visited their most famous ski resort - Bialka Tatrzanska (Only for the SPA, not for Ski) and for the final - Auschwitz. Also due to bad weather conditions I missed my flight back home. Actually I missed the connecting flight and it was self-connection with Ryan and Wizz...

Itinerary:
TUE - Flights SOF-ATH-WAW (3h in ATH) with A3, then Uber and a night in Warsaw.
WED - Walk around Warsaw, then Flight WAW-KTW with LO, then Rent a car and 200km driving to Zakopane
THU - All day at Terma Bania SPA center in Bialka Tatrzanska
FRI - Morning drive to Auschwitz, then quick walk in Katowice and flights KTW-BLQ-SOF

First of all I am attaching a video of my 1st and 2nd flights. As a Gold member of Aegean Miles+Bonus I always choose them when their timetable is OK for me, so in this video I tried to show something I do very often - flying with connection in ATH with A3:

Our first day in Warsaw was not actually a day because we landed at 17:00. We had time to explore the Christmas lights.
It was very beautiful even very cold - below the 0 centigrade. We also took polish dinner in a resaturant close to the main street and then went for a sleep. In the morning we visited some places around the center + Warsaw Uprising Museum. It was extremely nice place. We understand many things about what happend in 1944 when Warsaw decided to uprise. There are many exhibitions showing the bombing over the city and the ruins after that.
Here are the pictures of Warsaw:

Shorlty we went to the airport and took a flight to Katowice with Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 (LOT Polish Airlines):

We decided to book a hotel in Zakopane instead of Bialka Tatrzanska and I can say it was wrong decision. Bialka is much nicer and lively place. Zakopane is just a small city completely empty of people during the evenings. We were happy that there was pub (karczma) just accross our accomodation.
In the morning we went to Bialka not for skiing, but for all day in SPA: Terma Bania. It is very nice place, but beware if you visit the Saunarium because it is all nude area. They give you a towel, but in some places inside you have to be completely naked. First I was nervous about that, but actually it is not that big deal. There were more than 100 naked people there so at some point you just stop care about that. Anyway I really reccommend the place!

In the morning we went to the Camp of death - AUSCHWITZ. We visited both the museum and birkeneau. There is no entrance fee but you have to make a reservation in advance in their website:

On our way back we had self-connection between WizzAir and RYANAIR: KTW-BLQ-SOF. Because of the snow in Bologna we missed our connection and for exactly 444 flights in my life this became the first time I miss a flight. How did I manage to go back home you can see in my last video.

I am planning to make not just flight reports but also travel vlogs. I am planning to make the first of them next month in the Carribean basin.
Thank you!
