"KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announces that punctuality figures came under pressure in July due to severe weather conditions. Heavy storms, technical failures in the baggage handling system, and software failures in air traffic control systems had a negative impact on results. Despite these disruptions, KLM's long-haul flights 80% arrived and 65% departed on time . Of all short- and medium haul flights, 80.2% arrived and 74.3% departed on time. We managed to avoid canceling any long-haul flights and short-haul cancellations were kept to a minimum. Our baggage irregularity rate increased with 0.1% to 2.72%, placing us behind our peers."

65% departed on time? I'm impressed!
For some reason I'm not surprised to learn that KL's baggage irregularity rate is worse than the competition's.
