Good for you cigarman. You been the rules, but that does not make good advice.

Hyatt will post each night stay IF you change properties each night, even within the same city, ie Chicago, Houston, etc. I have done this for years. Some years it was the only way I kept my Diamond status. It you stay in the same property two or more nights in a row that is one stay!

Sheration in 1997 and before had the same rules at Hyatt as to "stays". If this has changed I am unaware of it. Same with Hilton.

This is the reason that a few years ago most chains went to so many "stays" OR so many "nights" as is true with Hyatt.
