Don't be misled by the people who say that they beat the Hilton system. They are simply the beneficiaries of an IT glitch, no different than could occur with any system.
In most cases, Hilton still requires you to show up, present ID and have your card or electronic key activated. Moreover, even when you are not required to show up aty the front desk, the system will still count you as a no show if you do not activate the lock.
With both programs, you certainly can get away -- on a one night stay -- with checking in and then leaving. But, in your case, the best you can do on a 5-day stay is to leave at 4 days and then just leave.
