Hi, I made a booking successfully (email from PayPal and flight ticket issued) on Qatar airways through PayPal on the 12 December. It usually takes a few working days for the transaction to be posted on my credit card. But it has been almost 2 weeks and the transaction is still ‘unposted’ (ie I have not been billed).

The credit card company says they cannot do anything until the transaction is posted or dropped. And the advised me to check with Qatar on why it is taking so Long to be processed.

qatar’s reply to me is only that my booking is confirmed, and perhaps to check with PayPal. But unless there’s a dispute with the transaction, I can’t really file anything under PayPal.

Has anyone ever had issues with paying via PayPal? I’m withholding all my other hotel and car bookings because of this unposted transaction (worried that somehow payment doesn’t go through because Qatar did not process my transaction and my flight ticket is cancelled?) I have never had a transaction with any company taking more than a week...
