That's one heck of a premium for what really amounts to 100% Errorplan points vs just 50%, and goes to what I said above. Those so-called 'perks' that come with status aren't rewards to acknowledge one's loyalty, they're upgrades that have been bought and paid for in full by the person receiving them.
There is no free lunch.
