I noticed that my jackets were picking up a strong cheap-cologne odor on my left shoulder. I traced this to the seatbelt of my rental from SJC. It looks and feels normal. Just smells strongly and it rubs off, apparently.

This smell is cloying, and repeated launderings with vinegar have not removed it. Any tips?
