After being away for a while, coming back I realized I had the expectation that people in the US are polite. And today at the morning I realized how that is just another delusions Americans have.

-family at self-tag baggage kiosk taking up both kiosks, man using one on left while his wife is blocking the one on the right with all their luggage
-after I print out my bag tag I was going to move aside so the lady behind me could use it, but she didn't give me any space to move away (family's luggage to the right still, to the left is the full-service line). She seemed utterly oblivious to the fact I was going to move out of her way. Either way, if I don't move she cannot use the kiosk. Similar to the bus dilemma in China-if nobody is letting you out because they are all trying to cram in, how will there be any room for them to inside?
-in the security line lady "apologizes" to the man behind, saying because his foot was touching the wheels of her bag she squished his foot with his bag. I find it simple-the person who has a rollerbag is responsible to ensure they do not "hit" other people with their bag. By the principles of common sense if you have your bag tilted and want to now put the bag upright on the ground, if there is something underneath the bag it will be squished.
-in the line for the xray machine the lady loudly says, "no, the line is here." Actually, there are two xray machines for baggage and if the people actually used both of them it would be much quicker.
-after my bags come out from the xray the lady behind me says, "Mind if I move your bags" whilst in the process of putting her hands on my bags and pushing them further. Her luggage was nowhere to be seen. I had my bags off before hers even came out.
