There is absolutely no need to leverage Globalist status into anything else. Trust me, stay at Hyatt as often as you can. No other chain and no other status will come close.

Get a credit card or something if you really need a Plan B status from Hilton or somebody...

P.S. Of course you have the standard challenges from Marriott and Hilton and the occasional match / challenge from IHG. Completely "no stay required" status matches are history... apart from the chains you would never stay at.
