AS time and aircraft change on BA Holidays booking

Morning all.

Booked on Friday to get the rest of my family out to California and Oregon for my wedding in July. Return leg was PDX-SEA-LHR as they wanted to travel on a day without the direct flight (got them the 781 instead).

The AS leg was on whatever puddle jumper they have that has no domestic F. Two emails this morning - one cut 13 minutes off the 85 minute transfer (which I’d be fine with, but they’re not experienced travellers and I know Seattle isn’t the easiest due to the various trains). Second was a cancellation and rebook with no apparent change - checked EF and it’s now an E75 with F. So the question: do I have any justification for calling up and asking to be rebooked into F for that leg?

My opinion of this situation in general is that it should be free, but I think I recall the normal answer is “you were happy with what you booked”?
