I think the bedding ( well mattress ) is a personal choice. There are a lot of differences in hotel bedding. Even the Sofitel bedding is hard and lumpy at certain hotels ( I am thinking about Budapest Chain Bridge and definitely Krabi Thailand ) but in general given the options out of the three Ibis brands in my opinion the Blue has the worst bedding possible. Then the Green and Red. Mind you I do not have any massive experience of the Ibis Blue
