1) I use TripAdvisor to look for negative reviews. I almost never read the positive ones unless I’m looking for something factual (I.e., logistics regarding the hotel’s location).

2) TripAdvisor reviews are also weird because a lot of people go to hotels just to eat or drink, and think that entitles then to review the hotel itself.
