So far i have been fairly happy with my syays at ICs this year. Allways upgrades (IC Hong Kong usuallu to the 14 type junior suite, Singapore to a junior suite multiple times and other places also to usually very nice rooms. Th gifts are sometimes nice, sometimes unusable. Allways water, fruits etc.

Last night i was staying in the IC Zurich. The hotel itself looks more like a midprice Holiday Inn. Small rooms, cheap towels (so old that the almost fall apart), dirty carpet. No fruits, no water, no gift. And nobody in the morning at the ambassador checkput - a long line in front of the regular checkout and only one person working this line.

Seems like this hotel should not be named Interconti - ar they need a major renovation and a major retraining of the staff etc.
