Mikey Mike Mike, those are strong words and your point is well expressed. Race to the bottom or market adjustment? For sure the character of ET has changed but the fares reflect what the passengers receive. The core service is a reliable operation from Heathrow, Gatwick or City to a wide range of European airports. Frills are available to those who wish to pay for them. The millennials get the service they want at the price point they are prepared to pay. Old codgers like me, who enjoy the frills book CE. Compared to Basic fares, there is a premium to pay but on balance CE fares are cheaper today than economy was twenty years ago.
