I agree it is sad about Firmdale in London - not what it was. Interestingly, their 2 hotels in NYC are much better. Maybe their focus is on them these days.
I've stayed at the Crosby Street Hotel at least once a year for 10 years now. Hard product was always great, service gradually got worse and worse. I am a free agent this this week. Let's see what the Greenwich Hotel has to offer. I'll then try the FS Downtown and maybe 11Howard.
