Bumping an old thread. Just got my first Mac, a late 2019 MacBook Pro 16", with a Core i9 and 32GB or RAM. When using Safari, FT is so very sluggish and consumes 4-6GB for one page. Granted, it's a meal thread page, but still...

In Chome, memory use is normal of the same page.

What is it with Safari and FT?
