Sometimes you ask the weirdest questions.

The person explained already what they wanted to achieve. They wanted to add their Emerald Club number to the Costco Enterprise reservation, to get National credit. Any monetary gain from the rate would come from the original Costco reservation and has nothing to do, with what was being discussed here.
