First off apologies for a somewhat non-BA question, but I know the good people on here will just know the answer. Arriving Finnair into JFK T8 with an onward AA domestic a mere 1h25 later. I do not know what happened here but I think I may have been the victim of an AA schedule reshuffle that I missed.

Anyway, I am quite worried about a 1hr25 connection. I was planning on taking luggage but I suspect that is now a bad idea. Realistically is 1h25 enough? I have a US pp which may expedite my journey through immigration a bit, but still. I assume I need to reclear security within T8 but I have never done T8-T8 that I can recall. I'm arriving on a Thursday afternoon in January, is that a busy time? I have dinner plans in San Fran that I would rather change now if I am going to miss my flight. It is all one ticket so I am protected, but the next direct flight to SF is 1hr45 later and gets me there beyond a reasonable dinner time!
