KLM has not charged my credit card?

I am a new Flying Blue user but a longtime Delta Skymiles member. I had gotten a FB account a while back on the advice of the The Points Guy but had not used it until yesterday. I was searching for a flight from Berlin to Reykjavik on Kayak and the best deal was a KLM flight that transfers in Amsterdam, then sends me on Icelandair. Both legs were booked on one ticket on the KLM website, not Kayak (although I was surprised I was on an Icelandair flight as I didn't know they were a codeshare--any thoughts on this? Do European airlines routinely book connecting legs on other airlines?).

Anyway, I got an email confirmation, 4 ticketing emails for 4 people, and a booking code. When I log in to the KLM website I see the booking. But the strange thing is, the credit card I used does not have a hold or pending charge whatsoever. I used an AMEX and normally it IMMEDIATELY shows up as a pending charge whenever I buy anything.

Is this normal? Does KLM have some kind of delay in actually processing the credit card? I'm feeling a little paranoid. Thanks!
