Found an interesting video that explains how the cabin lighting on Peach Aviation is set during a night time landing.


With all the ANA flights I've took throughout the past several years, it somewhat mirrors the video. Every single night flight I flew with them the cabin lights always remained fully illuminated during takeoff and landing. Most other airlines I've flown turn them off or at least dim them during those times. Is this the rule for all Japanese airlines to leave the lights on full bright? And has anyone also experienced the same situation during night flights on Japanese or even international carriers?
