This is standard and they will be released at 2-3 days in advance (midnight Chicago?). They are neve used as crew rest for transcon.

However since 4AB on the 16 premium cabin (aka pmCO) 752 are used on TATL flights, the UA aircraft that gave designated crew rest for any flights are also shown as initially blocked even for domestic flights. Could UA unblock them sooner, perhaps, but it does not.
