Ok so a couple of more thoughts to help out those booking here in the future.
I booked 2 rooms @ 5k per night at the studios.
Now being at the Property 3 days NO QUESTION "if" I came back here I would do the suites for 20k per night. They have decks. That is the key. I like to go on my deck and have a drink at night and being stuck in this room is tough.
If I was rebooking I would put my kids (23, 21) in the studios (for 5k) and I would book myself and the mrs. in the Suites with the deck.
That would be the Best of both worlds.
Book the suite.
20k for the Alila Seminyak seems like a poor use of points unless there is a peak date where you are seeing a spike in the cash rate. Alila Studios also has patios on the first level. For 20k (unless you given an upgrade) you aren't even getting an ocean view at the Alila Seminyak.
