If time is of the essence, just fly to Malaga and get a taxi - it is not much more than an hour from Malaga airport. This will be much quicker than connecting in MAD. If you can get BA to pay for the taxi, so much the better...

PS: Granada is the most amazing city. Don’t forget to book the Alhambra well in advance!
