Agreed, I've almost never seen a taxi in Israel accept credit cards (outside of an agreement with an app, such as Gett, Rider, Yango, or Uber). Maybe once ever. (Though supposedly this is set to change in 2020.)

That being said, Gett is an option that takes card.
