I checked in online on Saturday to be offered Premium Plus for $459 or Polaris for ~$840. I took the PP option and ended up with the bonus of a free seat next to me. Both PP and Polaris cabins were not full.

I'm flying LHR-LAX on January 3. The current upgrade offer (from S) is Polaris for $6,869.
