We're booked on a Economy Light (L) fare since we booked an open jaw and the only option while booking was L or full fare Y (booked directly from LH's website). Another question, does special meal disqualify for My Offer PlusGrade when LH algorithm review the bids and accept or reject the bid?
OP, CU and gate upgrades are ineligible when one have a special meal ordered, however a My Offer PlusGrade is cleared <72h before departure so to me this should not be an issue, but I'll like to raise this question to the forum.

Update; we're leaving in a few days and I had a Plusgrade bid for €685 /person. During the autumn and up util know I have monitored seats in business class. Today I decided to cancel my bid since there where 7 seats still available and the 72 hour window approaching. The seats where 5 seat scattered on the main deck and 2 windows at the upper deck. My deceission to cancel was based on that I would risk having the children split-up and seated next to a stranger for 10h without me or Mrs. GOTBound in eye contact reach. Of course one can ask people to switch seat, but in this case it would almost have the entire cabin required to participate and people have pre-chosen their seats for a reason so one can't expect any one to give up there seat just because the GOTBound family won a Plusgrade 48h prior to departure and would like to be seated next to each others.
