Unfortunately, unless you have Elite or higher status + having Special Systemwides, a B fare on YYZ-YHZ won't get you an upgrade.

With a B fare, I suggest that you go and standby on Sept 8 for the nonstop YYZ-YYG flight at 7:15am. That cuts the travel time down by quite a bit. Unless you have to be in YHZ, I am sure you guys would appreciate the short travel time vs. J via YHZ.
