I have a 75-night gift still to select, so does this imply that I should wait until January 1st to make the selection to get a 2021 expiration date? Or would it expire in Dec 2020 either way?
I can’t believe they haven’t fixed this yet. There was a big to do last year, and William had to deliver the message that the free night expired Dec 31/19 regardless of what the T&Cs said.
If you keep reading the line that you quoted, it says:
e.g., if the benefit is earned in 2019, the deadline for redemption is December 31, 2020.
Unless, something’s changed, your free night will expire in Dec 2020.
