That may be the case although I doubt they would get much business traffic with 1 flight a week during July and August. I would have much preferred Tivat as it is a pretty coastal destination.
BA has really ramped up their operations in this part of Eastern Europe. We’ve seen increases at Zagreb and Ljubljana and new routes such as Podgorica and Pristina too. I guess this is the new focus area after retracting from Northern Europe.
Hopefully we might see Sarajevo added to the list at some point too.
Interestingly EasyJet are launching Gatwick to Tirana next summer. In response BA seem to have cut their fares on this route, though not to EasyJet levels. BA often also have this route returning in a very late night slot getting into Gatwick after 2am. I wonder if BA will try to compete with better flight times and lower fares still or alternatively leave the route to EasyJet.
