The credit card pitch is far more obnoxious. Its pushy and loud and completely lacks any sense of situational awareness. If AA wants to keep doing it, they should go to a recording.
I completely concur. At least with the IFE ads, pax are getting something out of it (free IFE). There is no value added to the passenger experience by the credit card screeds at all.
