I understand what you are saying, but as it seems that CX is getting more A350's, you would think they would address the problem (if at all possible). Poor wifi speeds are a problem now but will only become much worse once these same aircraft are 5-10 years old, as inflight wifi usage increases.
To clarify, Emirates has a "good plane, bad plane" wifi experience. It's essentially free on both A380 and B777, but A380 is dreadful (unusable, for the most part) while the B777 is decent.

I've seen some of the blogs talk about Emirates bad wifi, all I conclude is the bloggers have minimal to zero experience flying the Emirates B777. (Which is amusing, since I think their B777 has an overall better suites experience vs the A380.) Bad WiFi isn't "Emirates," but rather it is the "Emirates A380".

Emirates is apparently finally dealing with this a decade on by upgrading/swapping wifis on their A380s. But all the A380s I've been on suck, at least IME.

That was my point of the Emirates analogy. One plane type with much better Wifi vs the other. Regionally, CXs A350 WiFi still seems to be fine though. Last week I was editing a bunch of cloud based spreadsheets and had minimal to no latency on my flight from NRT. It was very good (it was an A35K, not sure if that's an identical wifi platform as A359, or upgraded). Although to your point, I think the trend is going up be increased usage, period as time goes on.

Does anyone know if the A35K Panasonic wifi specs are identical to the A359 Panasonic wifi?
