Almost a week after I cancelled. I received this message. Just an update.
"For your upcoming reservation, we have arranged a room for you at The Madison Hotel which is located only 2 blocks away at 1177 15th St NW, where your rate will remain the same and you will still receive all your Hilton honors benefits. We will cancel your reservation at Canopy and have it transferred to The Madison Hotel for you.
We can also provide you with the option to keep your reservation at our property which is currently called Hotel 1600 – you will keep your existing rates but unfortunately you will not receive any Hilton Honors benefits. Our hotel will have all guest rooms fully renovated and we will also offer a complimentary continental breakfast, however our restaurant and bar will not be open yet."
