I already got CP for the remainder of this year by opening the personal card with 40K - it came with CP for the remainder of the year. Once they raised it to 125K, I figured it would be better for our 2020 flying to try to keep CP by opening the business card now (my bonus is only 70K though, did another 80K offer come up?). Then I could start the cycle over with a new personal card bonus in 2021 since it'll be 24 months.

If I refund the flights, don't they take back the 3x points? I'm not sure how I can earn another 50K points this cycle. Our first flight of 2020 is the end of January when I wanted to use CP. Boo.
