I would avoid such combinations and if codeshare only between airlines which belong to the same alliance. The Air France Qantas codeshare agreement was started in 2018 and who knows how well both airlines are integrated. Anyways since it is an official partnership Air France is your's to talk to in case of changes even if the Qantas flight is changed. As soon as you are in SIN / PER I would assume Qantas takes over the customer service for Air France.
Interlining actually works quite well even beyond the alliance and even if the tickets aren't issued on codeshare stock. For example you can buy tickets on LH and LX that include a connection to BA, CX, EK, KE and many more. Many fare rules allow tickets to be issued and flights to be booked by most other airlines. Just scroll through the fare rules of a normal fare once and you'll see.
And most legacy carriers do actually have interlining agreements with most others and if a codeshare is invloved I wouldn't even think about it.
