Is anyone seeing that the Award miles, PQP, PQF on the online reservation doesn't always match the amounts shown on the email confirmation receipt?

I just purchased a multi city ticket to Asia and the amounts on the online reservation are much less then on my emailed receipt. I called United and they seemed confused but said the receipt is "probably more accurate then the website"

One of the legs is on Vietnam airlines..I wonder if thats causing issues as they are not part of Star Alliance but yet somehow bookable on United,com..
