I get upgraded - sometimes better than expected - every time I stay there. Their treatment of elites is unrivalled in my experience. My previous fav was the airport full-service Marriott, but upgrades were seldom - you got what you paid for - and the shuttle service (by independent operator) could really test your patience. I have close to 100 stays between the two and have stayed at almost every other Marriott or Hilton option at YYZ over the years. The Delta (formerly Doubletree and a bunch of other brands) also treats elites well and has good food, but involves a lengthy shuttle ride.
Is it easy to walk to regardless of arrival terminal? If it matters, I will be arriving on BA from LHR and flying out the next day on AA to LGA. If the convenience factor is out and I need a shuttle anyway, might go with one of the others, but otherwise the convenience might lead to me booking the Sheraton, thx!
