I was so close to finally getting status for the first time with BAEC and was depending on an MH flight KUL-BKK in Z class last week. Unfortunately despite having my BA number entered on the ticket and showing on the boarding pass, MH never posted the miles and declined the request from BA, giving their pat answer that the miles were 'credited to another program'. And since my year ended on Dec 8 and I'm 20 tier points short, I'm guessing I'm screwed.

Moral of the story... Don't depend on MH to post your flights correctly, and don't depend on them to correct the situation.
