I actually stayed there in October on an offpeak reward rate. Am Bonvoy Gold and was upgraded to a suite with in room open air onsen. My wife and I enjoyed the room so much that we ordered room service for dinner. Room service was not too bad (was quickly delivered and food is still hot) Room condition is good. There isn't much scenary outside the hotel since this resort is not by the ocean or mountain. No free breakfast was offered for Gold members.

The hotel offer some snacks at 9:30pm and was some simple noodles with soup stock.

This resort is on a small scale that there isn't much places to walk around (if you have been to resorts in Thailand or Hawaii u know how small this resort is). I find it wield that u can see some typical Taiwanese condos right outside the hotel entrance.

We were so jet-lagged (arriving from NA) that we bath in the in room onsen a number of times until checkout, slotted by random sleep times. Was offered late check-out but we did leave at noon.

The hotel has two pairs of Westin themed sandles for you to take away.

This resort is far from the train station and the shore. I had a rental car so I find this okay. There is a convenience store to the right hand side around the corner.

Not a bad resort but don't expect it like an elaborate ocean side resort. You will be happy with your choice.
