This could be the first year I miss EP in more than 10 years - the $15K EQD threshold raise has made it impossible to accomplish ExecPlat requal on business travel alone. I fly coach domestically for business, have resorted to flying business class for personal travel but still not quite there. I found out last month that UA will waive their EQD spend if you meet minimum spend on their credit card - I'm well above an equivalent spend on AA Citi Mastercard and would rather have that spend cover my EQD's than the 10k EQM's one gets @ $40k spend. I've seen that I can fly a partner airline and earn EQD's based on mileage - how far would I have to fly on which partner to close my current $4250 spend gap. AA sent me a teaser email to see if there were "any deals available to requalify", but when clicked on, there are no such offers.
Thanks for help/advice!

The flight must be flown in 2019.
