Judgement call. I definitely do NOT consider two individuals booked on separate reservations and seated in different cabins as “together”. Separate reservations, seating together, sure, but if they’re to remain in their cabin throughout the multiple hour flight, it’s a stretch to say that you’re as one during boarding. YMMV
