I was being specific to water. It is a huge waste of resources to give someone water if they don't drink it. My opinion, perhaps in the minority, is all restaurants should adopt a policy one must specifically ask for water to reduce waste.
Seriously? Waste of what? And I’d argue that any pre or post or transit flyer should drink as much water as possible for health reasons!
